Zircon CRM / Sales & CRM
Runs in the browser · HU / EN / DEA quote request form that brings in requests you can price
On a Zircon CRM quote request form you decide what to ask: project type, deadline, budget, and visitors can attach files too. Requests arrive in one shared list with an owner and a status. When everything is there, one step turns a request into an estimate or a proposal.

In short
What does a quote request form do in Zircon CRM?
A quote request form is a “Request a quote” channel on your website where the client answers the questions you need for pricing up front. In Zircon CRM you build it with your own questions and a file upload. Incoming requests go into a shared list and can be converted into an estimate or a proposal. It is made for sales staff and estimators.
Sound familiar?
The request comes by e-mail and takes three rounds before you can price it.
If any of these happens in your team, pricing still runs through the inbox.
- 01
An incomplete request
“How much would a new website cost?” That is all the e-mail says. Before you can name a price, you ask back about page count, deadline and budget, and days go by.
- 02
The attachment goes to the wrong place
The brief and the old brand guidelines were sent to a colleague's own address. The person writing the estimate never sees them.
- 03
Nobody can tell what has been priced
On Friday afternoon nobody can say which requests have had a reply and which are still waiting. Everyone searches their own inbox.
What it does
What the Zircon CRM quote request form does.
From the form to the finished estimate, you stay in the same system.
Your own questions, with a required e-mail address
You choose from text fields, text areas, dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons and dates, structured with headings and explanatory paragraphs. The e-mail field is always required, so you can always reply.
Files with the request
Each form has one upload field that accepts one or more files: a brief, a drawing, a photo. The files are stored with the request, within the file types and size allowed in your system.
One shared inbox
Every request goes into one list with e-mail address, tags, owner, status and date. Requests assigned to you are highlighted, and the list exports to Excel, CSV or PDF.
Statuses for your own process
Next to the three core statuses (processing, completed, cancelled) you can add your own, such as “Waiting for drawings” or “Site visit booked”. Each gets its own colour.
An estimate or proposal from the request
On the request page you pick what it should become. If the e-mail address already belongs to a customer contact, the system preselects that customer, and for a proposal the matching lead. For a new client you create the customer right there.
Closed when you save
When you save the estimate or proposal made from the request, the request is marked completed automatically. The list then shows only what is really still waiting for a price.
Embed, link, logo
You put the form on your website with an embed snippet, or share it as a standalone styled link, optionally with your company logo. You also set the button text and colour.
How it works
From request to sent proposal.
- 01
You build the form
For example “Website redesign”, with questions on page count, features, deadline and budget, plus a file upload for existing brand assets. You set the language, the starting status and the owner.
- 02
You put it on your website
The embed snippet goes on your quote page, the styled link into your campaigns.
- 03
The request arrives
The request appears assigned to its owner. The owner gets an e-mail and an in-app notification, and the colleagues you selected receive the full submission by e-mail.
- 04
You review and hand over
You read the answers, download the files, add tags and, if needed, hand the request to a specialist colleague, who is notified.
- 05
It becomes a quote
Converting opens the estimate or proposal editor, already linked to the chosen customer or lead. When you save, the request is closed.
Works with
Where a quote request leads.
- Estimatesthe request becomes an itemised estimate for a customer, linked to the request.
- Proposalsthe request can become a proposal for a customer, or for a prospect who is still a lead.
- Lead managementif the requester is already a lead, the system recognises them by their e-mail address.
- Customer managementexisting contacts are recognised, and new customers are created during conversion.
- Web-to-lead formsthe sister form for general enquiries that become leads.
Honestly
Good to know before you start.
Forms and statuses are managed by administrators. Converting also needs permission to create estimates or proposals, and to create customers when the client is new.
An estimate is always for a customer. If the requester is still only a lead, you can send them a proposal.
The confirmation e-mail to the requester is off by default. Switch the template on if you want them to get one.
reCAPTCHA needs Google reCAPTCHA keys. The terms and conditions checkbox is switched on in the GDPR settings.
Before you write
Fair questions. Straight answers.

How does a quote request become an estimate in Zircon CRM?
On the request page you choose the estimate from the convert menu. Zircon CRM recognises when the requester's e-mail address belongs to an existing customer and preselects it; for a new client you add the customer in the dialog. When you save, the request closes automatically.
- 02
Can I use a separate form for each service I quote for?
Yes, in Zircon CRM you build as many forms as you need, for example one per service or language. Each request shows which form it came from, and the forms list shows how many requests each one has received.
- 03
What is the difference between a quote request form and a web-to-lead form in Zircon CRM?
A web-to-lead form takes general enquiries, and every submission becomes a lead. The form for quote requests collects freely composed questions and files into a separate list, where each request is turned into an estimate or a proposal.
- 04
Can every staff member see all quote requests?
Not necessarily. In the Zircon CRM role editor you set whether someone sees only the requests assigned to them or all of them. Editing (status, reassignment, tags) and deleting are separate permissions.
Let's talk.
The first call costs nothing
A human replies — not a bot
Bring the questions you currently ask by e-mail before every quote. In the demo we build a quote request form from them and take one request all the way to a sent estimate.
