In Zircon CRM you build your website's contact form by dragging fields into place, then embed it on any page or share it as a link. Every submission becomes a lead with the source, status and owner you set, uploaded files included. The responsible sales person is notified straight away.

In short
What are web-to-lead forms in Zircon CRM?
A web-to-lead form is a form on your website whose submissions go straight into your CRM as leads (prospective customers). In Zircon CRM an administrator builds it with a drag-and-drop editor, and marketing embeds it or shares it as a link. Each new lead arrives with its source, status and owner already set. It is made for marketing and sales teams.
Sound familiar?
The contact form sends an e-mail, and someone types the lead in.
Three signs that your website form is not yet working for your pipeline.
- 01
Copying by hand from the inbox
The form sends an e-mail to a shared address, and someone copies the name, phone number and company into the CRM. If they are busy that day, the lead waits too.
- 02
After the campaign, nobody knows what it brought
The spring campaign's landing page collected sign-ups for weeks. At the review it turns out that every lead's source just says “website”.
- 03
Spam drowns the real enquiry
By morning the inbox is full of bot messages, and the one from a real prospect gets lost among them.
What it does
What Zircon CRM web-to-lead forms do.
You build as many forms as you need: a general one, or one per campaign, language or product.
Drag-and-drop builder
You drag lead fields (name, e-mail address, phone, company, address, lead value) and your own custom fields onto the form, side by side in columns if you like. For each field you set the label, the help text and whether it is required. A file upload field lets visitors attach a brief or a document.
Embed or link
You get an embed snippet (iframe) for any website, CMS or landing page builder. Next to it there is a standalone styled link, optionally with your company logo, for newsletters, social posts or QR codes.
Source and prefix per campaign
Each form gives new leads their own source, status and owner, and can put a prefix in front of the lead's name, such as “[Spring Promo]”. The forms list shows how many leads each form has produced.
Instant notification
The responsible sales person gets an in-app notification and an e-mail about the new lead. You can also pick staff members or whole roles to be notified.
Duplicates become tasks
You can choose one or two fields (e-mail address and company, for example) whose match means the lead already exists. In that case no new lead is created: the submitted data and files become a task assigned to the responsible person.
Spam protection and consent
You switch Google reCAPTCHA on per form. In the GDPR settings you can also require acceptance of your terms and conditions: without the tick, the form cannot be sent.
Thank-you message or redirect
After submitting, visitors see your own text, or you redirect them to a thank-you page. The redirect applies to the whole page even when the form is embedded, so conversion tracking runs on your own site.
How it works
How a submission reaches the right sales person.
- 01
You set up the form
You give it a name and a language (used for validation messages), choose the source, status and owner, and switch on reCAPTCHA.
- 02
You arrange the fields
In the builder you drag in the fields, for example name, e-mail address, a “Budget” dropdown and a file upload. Saved changes show up at once wherever the form is embedded.
- 03
You put it on your website
You paste the embed snippet into the page and share the styled link in your newsletter.
- 04
The lead arrives
The system checks required fields and duplicates, creates the lead with its files and records in the activity log which form it came from. The owner is notified.
Works with
Where a submitted form goes next.
- Lead managementevery submission becomes a lead in the pipeline, where qualifying and proposals continue.
- Quote requeststhe same form engine collects quote requests, with your own questions and files.
- Task managementa duplicate submission becomes a task for the responsible person, with the submitted data.
- Custom fieldsthe custom fields you add to leads appear as building blocks in the form builder.
- GDPR and privacythis is where you switch on the terms checkbox and consent tracking for leads.
Honestly
Good to know before you start.
Only administrators can create, edit and delete forms. Submitting needs no login: anyone who can see the page or the link can send the form.
reCAPTCHA needs Google reCAPTCHA keys in the system settings.
The confirmation e-mail to the person who filled in the form is off by default. Switch the template on if you want them to get one.
Embed the form on a page that uses the same protocol (HTTPS or HTTP) as your Zircon CRM. Each lead field can appear once per form.
Before you write
Fair questions. Straight answers.
- 01
How do I add a Zircon CRM web-to-lead form to my website?
On the form's integration tab you copy the embed snippet (iframe) and paste it into your page, adjusting width and height to your design. If there is nowhere to embed it, Zircon CRM also gives you a standalone styled link, with or without your logo.
- 02
What happens when the same person fills in the form twice?
If duplicate checking is on, Zircon CRM does not create a new lead. The submission becomes a task for the form's responsible person, with every submitted value and file, and the visitor sees the usual confirmation.
- 03
Can I see in Zircon CRM which campaign a lead came from?
Yes. Each form gives the lead its own source, and the name prefix marks the campaign in the list too. The lead's profile shows the form's name, and the forms list shows how many leads each form has produced.
- 04
Can I run forms in several languages with Zircon CRM?
Yes, you build a separate form per language. The form's language sets the language of the validation messages; you write the field labels and the thank-you text yourself.
Let's talk.
The first call costs nothing
A human replies — not a bot
Send us the link to your current contact form, or a list of its fields, before the call. In the demo we rebuild it as a Zircon CRM form and look at how the first submission arrives as a lead.
